First Alert Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm Combination Demo

Available Here: www.firstalertstore.com www.firstalertstore.com The SC07CN-C is unique because it features two alarm systems that work independently to detect both evidence of fire and carbon monoxide (CO). It’s easy to program with 11 pre-programmed home locations. This alarm is powered by two ‘AA’ batteries (which are included) and easy to replace without removing the alarm from the ceiling to change a battery. The SCO7CN-C uses an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor-the most accurate CO sensor available. It also uses photoelectric sensing technology, which provides optimal protection from smoldering fires and reduces false alarms like those caused by cooking smoke and shower steam. The SC07CN-C even stores CO readings and verbally communicates the highest level of CO detected, so you can easily discern patterns that indicate it’s time to check your appliances or other combustible items for CO leaks. There is a mute button to silence any nuisance alarms that may occur and the single button tests all alarm functions. Smoke alarms like the SC07CN-C are the easiest, most cost-effective way to keep your family safe from fire. The more smoke alarms you have installed in your home, the more your safety increases.

Testing the new Kiddie Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors

This is a general test of the our newly installed Kiddie KN-COSM-IB Combination Smoke (Ionization) and Carbon Monoxide Detectors (Electromechanical). They have a voice annunciator integrated with it (which is not very loud and kind of unintelligible) but is also accompanied with an 85 dB Piezo horn. I also demonstrate the hush mode capibilities of the alarm. If a false alarm occurs you can silence the horn by pressing the test/hush button on the alarm. It can be over-ridded if the alarm continues to detect dangerous conditions (too much smoke or carbon monoxide in its environment).

Horse Carriage Demo/Protest Against Heinous Abuse of Horses in New York City 1-16-10 pt3

On Saturday, January 16th, 2010, New York City animal rights activists kicked off the beginning of a campaign against the cruel abuse of horses in New York City’s carriage horse industries. Ironically, this date is the start of the 3-day weekend that includes Martin Luther King day – a day celebrating equal rights and reminding us all of the end of slavery. Well, slavery of humans in the US may be a thing of the past but the enslavement and merciless treatment of horses is alive and well in New York City. Shamrock Stables, West Side Livery, Ian McKeever, Frank and the rest of the dirty animal abusers are now on the chopping block, as this group of activists is determined to put their industry out of business. Horses are kept in nose-to-tailpipe conditions for 9 hours a day, up to 7 days a week, hauling brutally heavy loads including carriage and passengers around the streets of New York City. They inhale carbon monoxide for most of their “work” day, and routinely find their water sources empty. Horses are worked in the blistering sun and the freezing cold. In snow, and ice, they haul happy and blissfully ignorant tourists on stupid joyrides. Horses are easily spooked by loud noises and sudden movements, and have often spooked and bolted, causing automobile accidents, injury to humans, and injury – often fatal to the horses. Can you think of a city more loud, or with more sudden movements than New York City? Horses need to fully lay down in order to sleep properly – but New

On Sunday, February 7th, activists in New York City continue the campaign against the cruel abuse of horses in New York City’s carriage horse industries. Can you think of a city more loud, or with more sudden movements than New York City? Horses need to fully lay down in order to sleep properly – but New York City horses are warehoused in multi-story buildings without adequate ventilation (ammonia buildup from urine in these places causes health problems and provides an agonizing breathing experience), any fire safety measures, and often times stalls too small to lay down properly, or at all. No, the horses do not live in Central Park. They live in a
